I came to USA as an Au pair and I hereby would like to request the extension of my current status. Since COVID-19 started back in March I was unable to achieve my travel goals, which made all of us to quarantine and follow CDC guidelines. I still believe that life experience is something you can’t buy, and traveling to the U.S.A definitely opened my mind and I have personally grown in so many ways. I am really grateful to be able to take this time off and enjoy myself and meeting people from all over the world. Once the lockdown is behind us and the travel rules within the United States are a little more flexible, I would like to share my travel plans:
OCTOBER:
- Travel to New York and visit again my favorite spots and take the last shots
SEPTEMBER:
- Travel to San Francisco and stay at my friend’s house, then go to explore
Yosemite with her. Spend a week hiking, listening to guided commentary,
swimming at Mono Lake, hike in a sub-alpine meadow, and camp outside.
- Come back to San Francisco and Explore the city and the places around.
NOVEMBER:
- Say goodbye to my friend and keep on my trip plans which include
expend some days in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles
- Beautiful deserts, Palm Springs, and Vegas
DECEMBER:
- I will be traveling to DC and rest for two weeks and then I will go to
Florida with my girlfriends to celebrate Christmas and the New Year
JANUARY:
- Get ready for my Alaska dream trip with a friend
FEBRUARY
- We will get the tickets a little bit close to the date,
but for sure our biggest dream is get to see the
Northern Lights in Alaska.
MARCH
- Nashville, New Orleans, and Atlanta.
APRIL:
- Go shopping and get a flight back to Brazil
That was what I planned to do, staying at hostels can be affordable and I also a member of CouchSurfing app , so I can find places for free and sometimes I will be hosted by my friends. After that, I will be more than excited to go back to Brazil and build an album to show to people my adventures abroad, which is one of my favorites hobbies!
My professional work experience as a ________________ in an ___________company in Brazil inspired me to pursue an exchange cultural program to become fluent in English and I am glad that I made it until here. My next step will be apply for my Master’s Degree in _____________when I am back to Brazil in 2021, so that I can continue advancing in my career. When I began working in the ___________ position at _________ in 2015, I was initially involved with contract management, responsible for observing adherence to the agreed clauses. Additionally, I would advise the sales department during the formulation of commercial proposals by studying the customer's needs and the product portfolio, corresponded to market requests, and aligned with company interests. I worked closely with business leaders in the company who were managing projects related to equipment used for industrial paper production, in compliance with various agreements for customers in Brazil and abroad. I am positive that after my experience here and with my fluency on English, I will be able to perform excellent work in Brazil.
